One of my first historical fiction books I’ve read by choice and I think it was incredible. Definitely a bit slow but the turnout was worth it and definitely a genre I will return to! One thing though is that the characters got a little mixed up for some parts because the names are all kind of similar due to the time period-but a character lost helped :)
