Got this at an event for the author at the Asia Society. It was a big deal, and everyone who attended got a signed copy of the book. I had enjoyed the Crazy Rich Asians series well enough, so I was happy to read this too. Now I kind of wish I hadn't. Felt obligated to read it, but really wish I hadn't.
Too many characters, and most of them ew. Finally started getting a little good about halfway.
