Theo is the hockey team’s super star. Completely driven to win and play in the NHL for his favorite team owner Tom. Claire is a dancer from the wrong side of the tracks. She is killing herself to get a dancing scholarship while waitressing angus juggling her boyfriend. A housing mixup means that Claire and Theo are roommates. After Claire discovers her boyfriend Chad cheating, Claire and Theo start fake dating to keep Chad and the team’s puck bunnies away. Soon they begin crossing the line to love.

I really liked that the relationship started as annoyed enemies and grew to friendship before love. I liked that they supported each other 100 percent. The team was hilarious for liking Claire more than Theo. It was sweet when they help take care of her multiple times. The twist with Tom was telegraphed pretty early on. I wish Chad would have had more consequences for being a bad human being.

Overall it was well written and a fast read. It wasn’t instalove. There was just enough spice, but it wasn’t too much or a main plot. It worked well in the story. The hockey descriptions were believable coming from a hockey school. Will definitely read the feast of the series.
