I know a lot of people have said this already but- I did not see the reveal coming! I binged this book in two days which is unusual for me, I just had to know what had happened. The whole book was really well-written with great pacing, thoroughly rendered characters and beautiful passages of prose tying in themes of early development, mental health, trauma, love and the complexities of relationships (romantic and otherwise). This was so close to being a 5* but I just wish the wrap up in the last chapter was better. It felt like once the big reveal was done the characterisations lost some of their dimension and became lack-lustre
