i WOULD die for Chloe and Red.
there were a few moments where I found this book a bit too over-the-top and cheesy but I'm really not even mad about it because this was so fun and sweet and occasionally heart-wrenching. I don't know if this makes sense and it might be mildly spoiler-ish so: but characters that have trauma/personal issues that, when placed in a certain situation, makes them push each other away/accidentally trigger each other, but then they show genuine desire to help each other and work through it to be together... I love it SO MUCH.
favourite side character award goes to Gigi, but I can't wait to read the other books about Dani and Eve because I'm excited to learn more about them!
also I'm new to adult romance and... whew

Graphic: Chronic illness, Emotional abuse, and Sexual content
Moderate: Drug use
Minor: Physical abuse
note on content warnings: the abusive relationship referred to in the book is a past relationship of one of the main characters, and the drug use is in the context of managing chronic illness. I don't know if it is appropriate to tag that as drug use, but it was the closest thing I could think of and as the main character does refer to her medication often throughout the novel it felt like something that should be mentioned.
