Change Your Questions, Change Your Life: 10 Powerful Tools for Life and Work by Marilee G. Adams
4.0
I love the content in this book. As a coach who works with sensitive deep thinkers, I’ve noticed a tendency to get stuck and spiral in certain unhelpful kinds of questions.
The two most common: why ——-? (Usually a question form of self judgement or the brain’s belief that it must know the root or it must make sense before forward motion or change is possible….which btw is not true).
Simplifying the model and helping folks become aware of their questions tracks and the impact of them, while helping them to identify judger or learner questions has been key for some of my clients.
I listened to the audiobook and was not a big fan of the narrative style presentation of the content and/or the readers voice, but it didn’t get in my way of getting a ton out of the book.
