Liberation Day: Stories
by George Saunders
There were a few passages that brought everything in a story together so profoundly that it kind of felt like being stabbed in the heart. That’s kind of Saunders’s thing (for me at least) but it always sneaks up on me. Definitely re-readable, when I feel like I would benefit from another a miniature crisis of spirit.
