I thought this book was hilarious! Terry Pratchett makes some good points on the absurdness in humans, and the dangers of over-religiosity (I know, it’s a made up word but it fits!). He also pokes fun at the dangers of being too conservative. I loved the historical references: the Trojan War, the Old Kingdom of Egypt and Ancient Greece. The idea of pyramids warping time was interesting and funny (they use old time, so the kingdom remains stagnant). Camels as mathematicians was great as well! (You Bastard was one of my favorite characters, he has a great name for a camel). If you like Ancient Egypt, mythology, Ancient Greece, pyramids, mummies, camels, quantum theory, or humor this is the book for you!
