I think this was good but there's one thing that kept me from giving this five stars and has sort of ruined this series: the love. On one side I don't care about Carter and Zia being together, they never had any chemistry. Percy and Annabeth were amazing because they grew and it felt natural, book one they hated each other, book two they were friends, book three Percy was wondering if he loved her, book four they secretly kissed, book five they started dating, and Heroes of Olympus they're naming their talking about their future children in Tartarus. On the other hand in the Kane Chronicles book Carter started off with a crush, really, instalove? Meanwhile Sadie is in the weirdest love triangle ever and I cannot feel for it. Overall I wish Rick just focused on Carter and Sadie's sibling relationship and plot then the romance that turns people away from ya.
