I liked the authors writing. It flowed from chapter to chapter. Overall, the book was ok. It wasn't the writing that threw me off. I didn't believe that Jeremey and Mckenzie were building a friendship let alone a romantic relationship. Had it been more about their friendship and Mckenzie blossoming into her own confident person, I would have enjoyed it more. There was no spice since both characters were Christian. I found that to be perfect for the tone of the story.
