Hotel by Arthur Hailey

3.0

A lot can happen at a hotel in five days.

I am obsessed with behind-the-scene peeks into places, so this book that so clearly shows us the inner workings of a hotel was very enjoyable for that. I liked the way that the plot-lines were all woven together, and enjoyed the complex greys of the characters actions. However, I found some elements predictable, the female characters one-dimensional, and found the brief relationship between a nineteen-year-old girl and the thirty-something protagonist troubling, even if they only shared a kiss or two.
