I adored it, it made me cry, laugh, and live (live laugh love basically). The characters were amazing, especially Karou and Akiva, I was happy with the conclusion and the way the storylines ended. I enjoyed reading this book, I like the writing style, it made for a very quick and entertaining reading.

There were some small hiccups but nothing major. There is a new plotline and sort of rushed worldbuilding that tries to tie everything together in the end. I would say it was 90% successful with it. I still enjoyed it though, the new characters added some insight into the main characters so I didn't mind. And I would not have liked making this a four-book saga instead of a trilogy to extend that plotline so, I'm content with what I got.

This book does not follow a normal three-act structure, and I enjoyed it more because of it. The resolution wasn't plain or simple, it had nuance. And the climax was very satisfactory to me, even if it happened way earlier than it should have been (the conflict with Jael is the climax for me).

Truly, the highlight of this story was the romance between Karou and Akiva, their reluctance to show their love, their insecurities, their fears, hopes, and dreams. I don't think I can ever forget a protagonist like Karou, she is my beloved forever.
