Whiskey Rebellion by Liliana Hart
3.0
No thinking required to read this. It's fun, light and has more than a few laugh out loud lines. However, Addison's schtick of the bumbling detective wears thin. The romance is strange..it tends to go from 0-60-0 in a matter of a few sentences...and maybe that's the authors way of writing "suspenseful" romance..but to me, I got tired of it. To sum it up, this book is an Izzy Spellman crossed with Lt. Jack Daniels wannabe. Nice effort, but the case of the one line zinger-single -female -detective -looking -for -romance - genre only works if the plot flows and the characters are believable.
