The Unexpected Spy: From the CIA to the Fbi, My Secret Life Taking Down Some of the World's Most Notorious Terrorists by Jessica Anya Blau, Tracy Walder

1.0

I believe this is a well written story with accounts of the author’s experiences as a spy with a nice touch of what sensitive information cannot be shared with the public.

I went into this expecting a story that was self aware but at times this book feels like it celebrates American exceptionalism through a white feminist lens and does not come to grips with the realities of nations that America methodically turned upside down because of political interests.
