As always, Emily Henry nails humor and emotion - this time with some sexy pining. Miles is the perfect golden retriever stoner boyfriend, and the author also nails Phoebe’s job as a children’s librarian. The plot ended up feeling meandering in the second half, but I couldn’t help but root for these two and their character development as individuals and together.
