this book made me change my rating of a touch of darkness from three stars to two stars.

reading hades' pov was vile. my mistake, truly, for thinking a retelling of hades / persephone's story would entail anything other than hades being an absolute horny freak who can't form a coherent thought other than wanting to stick his dick up persephone. he claims he loves her but can't connect her to anything but pleasing himself. he's a main factor in helping persephone gain the confidence to stand up to her mother which is nice, but it isn't enough to redeem him in any way. i'm glad i read this book for free or i'd be demanding retributions.
