Once again, Allie Brosh knocks it out of the park.
I put off reading this book for a long time. I don't know why. I adored Hyperbole and a Half as a blog, and I loved the book just as much, and I was so excited when it was announced that Solutions and Other Problems (which was on hiatus for six years, I think?) would finally be released.
But reading Brosh's publicity interviews, listening to her talk so frankly about the difficulties she experienced during the hiatus, I knew that reading this book would be raw and real for me as well. I had also had a hard six years, and I know what it is like to feel tiny and absurd in the face of world-ending moments.
But in those moments, when you desperate and alone and the only friend you have is yourself, this book can be your friend too.
