I loved this book. I did not expect it to be 60 percent romance in the first half! Lackey has a way of giving Vanyel many moments where he is told by others that he matters and that taking life head on is an important part of growing up. Unfortunately, Vanyel does not take this advice for someone so immature but it was very nice to see (he’s just like me woahhh). Also I loved meeting Starwind and Moondance
