This book made me cry in the very first chapter and I knew I was going to love it. It's the story of Casey, a 31-year-old writer in mountains of debt whose mother has just passed away, as she tries to write a novel and gain stability in her life and emotions. There were so many paragraphs that spoke to me as she endured grief, panic attacks, relationship struggles, and the inability to make the decisions that could alter the course of her life. It was all so relatable and beautiful.
