To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee

I really enjoyed this book! It was beautifully written, and I loved mostly all the characters. There were only two characters that I had issues with. I can see why this book is such an important piece of classic American Literature. I found that a lot of the issues that were discussed in the book are still issues to this day. We still live in a world of hate and prejudice, things which sadly aren't going away anytime soon. However, if there is one thing that can be learned from this book it is that compassion, empathy, learning to understand and accept others goes a long way.
