Dumb Witness by Agatha Christie

4.0

This was my 1st Agatha Christie and won't be my last.
Hercule Poirot has received a letter from a lady who wishes his assistance, when he arrives at her house he discovers that she died a few weeks previously. He decides that he must investigate what happened. He talks to her remainign family members, her staff, her lady's help and those in the village who knew her.
I liked that Poirot's sidekick Hastings was telling the story, it was as if you were sitting across from him in a living room. I enjoyed Poirot as a character, the way he investigated and got the other characters to confide in him was good.
I will defitnitely be reading more of Hercule Poirot.
