I don’t know how Katharine Arden does it but she delivered us an epic adult fantasy trilogy and then completely switched gears to write a middle grade horror series. And she pulled them both off!!
I read Dark Waters last night and although it was shorter than the other 2 I still really enjoyed it! I can definitely feel the series ramping up for the final book. If you haven’t read these and want some fun and spooky in your reading, without the full blown horror of adult fiction, I highly recommend! And then of course it’s for the kiddos too!
