Did not finish book. Stopped at 33%.

Not only is this writing dryer than a week-old scone (haha) but I don’t think the author understands the fake dating trope. The whole point is for the couple to fall in love over the process of the fake-relationship. When you have one of the love interests going in already having feelings, and the other love interest obviously having feelings back, what else is there to read on for? It’s like writing a one-bed trope fic about a couple that’s already been fucking on the regular, there’s no point.
