I don’t have a lot to say other than with each successive book, Courtney Summers impresses me even more than I already was. She just gets what it was like to be a teenager, and she has incredible empathy for her characters. Sadie is a sad, tough read - sad because you know kids out there live this same kind of life and won’t get the same kind of recognition for what they go through.
