Wow. Three Sisters was truly a phenomenal story based on the true survival of 3 Jewish sisters during the Holocaust. I found this story harder to read given the present state of the world but I'm glad I continued with it. It is more important than ever to not forget history so we don't repeat it. The story of Cibi, Magda, and Livia is nothing short of a miracle. I loved the authors note at the end of the book and the letters from the girls families and from Livi. This is a difficult story to read and is full of the atrocities committed by the Nazis against innocent people. It doesn't shy away from the hard images because it is what these girls truly experienced. I appreciate stories like these being preserved forever.
