A wild, dizzying book. The acutely sassy tone of the character got me (it’s a first-person narrative)—which kind of gave the impression that it was intended to be a cool, edgy gore fiction—but the plot was hollow and the last few parts came off as forced. Still “readable”, but that’s all there is to it. The ending was disappointing too.
Graphic: Gore, Blood, Cannibalism, and Murder
Minor: Fire/Fire injury
