The Magician by Michael Scott
5.0
In my opinion, this was a whole heap of amazing! I love the whole concept of combining all these different myths and monsters and stories. It's creative and different. I also enjoyed a decent amount of character development. For example, Josh an Sophie were both a little whiney in my opinion in The Alchemist. Now they are amazing! Once Sophie has control of her newly Awakened powers? She does some seriously amazing tricks. And josh was a bad ass with Clarent, excuse my French. Also the two new characters- Francis and Joan- were lovely additions. They had complex, if a little stereotypical, personalities. And, I kid you not, I loved Niccolo. I know, I know, evil and stuff but he was a perfect personification of it, with just the right amount of cunning and yet he was decent and humane. I can't wait I get my hands on the next one.
