I first read the spin-off to this book, unknowing that it was part of an already existing world. I fell head over heels in love with that book. So of course, here I am reading the book that led up to it.

This book was more slow-burn and of course I already loved Jess and River before going in. Which made it kind of difficult to take that step back and see him as an asshole in the beginning.

Nonetheless I really enjoyed their love story and I'm so happy to have found it ❤️
