I didn't know anything about the hipster grifter before this book, and with a moniker like that, I expected more. I found this book to be fast because it didn't go deep enough.

I think Ferrell's strength is discussing her life after her incarceration and advocating for reforms around the way previously incarcerated folks are treated.

Unfortunately, the majority of this book was boring...? There's no satisfaction in understanding her motive because Ferrell herself can't articulate why she committed her crimes.

I don't know y'all, I did not find this interesting and wouldn't recommend it - there are better stories out there.
