yeah… i‘m definitely completely done with my dark romance phase…
the book wasn’t awful, but the plot fell flat and could’ve used a bit more depth and there was absolutely no chemistry between hades and persephone like their relationship just didn’t develop
(side note: this really showed how the hades/persephone myth is extremely misogynistic, so i think this was done really well. just wasn’t a fan how it was supposed to be a dark „romance“, just not for me i guess)
