I liked both MCs more than I expected…until we neared the climax. Why oh why was the climax what it was?

There's nothing like a crazy stalker to make another one seem not so crazy? It’s like oh Christian only searched and knew everything about me for a year, the other guy wanted to kidnap and kill me so jk I love you, Christian. Ironically, I think his year stint wouldn’t have been so bad if he’d gotten therapy or something for it back then versus just ok I'm going to stop now?
