Romantic suspense has really been my jam lately. And CC does it SO well. Ridley is in search of answers for her sister’s disappearance and Colt will do anything to protect his sister’s peace. Both of them have been through T R A U M A, and seeing how it’s shaped the two of them into who they are now makes for the foundation of this story.

Absolutely butting heads like no other, the tension between the two just builds and builds until they explode. What’s nice is that their relationship is so much deeper than the physical (despite both their efforts to keep it just that), and Colt and Ridley find healing through each other.

The suspense plot of this had me HOOKED. Podcaster solving cold cases? Sign me up. As usual with most suspense books, I didn’t guess this one 😂 one of the things I love so much about Catherine Cowles books is that there’s always plot but there’s also always love. I really enjoyed this!
