I received an ARC of this story from NetGalley, and I was very pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it. There were scenes that I found laugh-out-loud funny, and the characters were compelling. Most important, I believed the love story.
The only thing that pulled me out of the story were some of the terms used to describe female anatomy in the early chapters. When it comes to the female form and love scenes, word choice can be critical. Happily, the more I read of this book the more I enjoyed it and (to my mind) the better the writing got.
