Badd Motherf*cker
by Jasinda Wilder
4.5 stars
The only book by Jasinda Wilder that I've ever read before is Alpha and I only gave it two stars. I'm glad I decided to read Badd Motherf*cker anyway because it really surprised me. It's only the first book of Badd Brothers series but I might continue the series one day even if parts with Zane and Amarantha didn't interest me that much in the epilogue.
“Known your sexy ass less than three fuckin’ days, but I’m hooked, Dru. That’s all I know. Crazy? Sure. Whatever. Don’t really care what you call it. Maybe shit’ll change for one or both of us. No way of knowing. All I know right now is I can’t get enough of you, and I like you here, and I like myself better when you’re around.”
Sebastian is a bartender and he has seven brothers; Zane, Brock, Baxter, Caanan, Corin, Lucian and Xavier. He doesn't have bad relationship with them but while they all left to fulfill their dreams he stayed with his father in their family bar. But three months after their father died all of them are coming back. I liked the brothers I just wish we had been able to see more of all of them. I especially liked Zane and how none of them let Sebastian screw things up.
Dru had her father but her mom leaving them really messed her up and she got trust issues. She wanted attention, love and to be wanted so she became a little wild but then she met her fiance and turned her wild side off. Dru is pretty kickass; she can kick ass and shoot a gun better than most rookies. She even owns a taser.
"He could tell me he loved me till he was blue in the face, but if he didn’t act like it, it wouldn’t matter."
Sebastian wanted Dru since he saw her. It was like an angel had walked into his bar and he couldn't understand why anyone would cheat on her (and the ex's 'explanation' was worse in my opinion that if he hadn't sad anything). I enjoy insta love from time to time but it made me glad that they didn't tell each other the L-word too quickly. I liked how Dru didn't give on his attraction right away like usually in these runaway bride books.
I had my doubts for this book but I really enjoyed it! I thought most of the book would be about Sebastian and Dru's sexual relationship and how Sebastian was a player and would resist the feeling until the very end. Thankfully I was wrong and it was about so much more.
