The Woman in Me by Britney Spears

Not going to rate it because this is literally about her life, but I have to say the book was really good and she was definitely in a terrifying situation for 13 years.
Even before the conservatorship, she was just a girl in her 20s and people were making all sorts of judgements about her, even when she was suffering from post-partum depression. You never realise how young the celebrities you looked up to as a kid were until you've reached that age, but it's ridiculous that GROWN ADULTS back then were criticizing a young woman.
I'm glad she's gotten her freedom back and I hope she finds peace. I think my favorite quote from this is: "I made peace with my family—by which I mean that I realized I never wanted to see them again, and I was at peace with that".
