Pineapple Street

While Pineapple Street was so hyped up in the book community prior to publishing, I think it makes sense that it sort of fizzled after, because for me it netted out on just the right side of "meh." It wasn't even that I didn't like the characters, but I was actually kind of bored with most of them. And while obviously I have no insight into the lives of the 1% and old money New York, I was so hung up on the fact that one of the characters had two kids and no nanny, which personally just felt wildly unrealistic to me for someone so wealthy. Anyway, I'm writing this a month after finishing the book, and it's already blurry to me, so I think that speaks for itself.
