War is coming

"Things were going to get worse before they got better, which was probably why I was having trouble dealing. When you know there’s a storm coming you do everything you can to prepare yourself, but when you’re the storm? When you’re the one causing all that damage? It sucks. People talk about the after effects of the storm, but they never talk about the before… the before is worse. After all, anticipation is always worse than the actual outcome." -Vito Nicio Campisi JR.
(Formerly known as Tex)

The heartbreak, the utter devastation is all just a looming black cloud of agony. You can see it coming but there is absolutely nothing you can do to stop it.
Mo and Tex have a magnetism that is incredibly intense. The love -hate is scorching. The agony is a physical force pressing down on your chest. It hurts to exhale but to inhale is razor blades.

Van Dyken just pulverizes my romantic little heart with every twist of the knife.
'"And even though you’re choosing blood…” Tex sighed. “Sometimes a person does what he has to do, to protect those he values the most.”'

If only we could hate Tex...it would be so much easier. If only Phoenix hadn't teased us with a white horse. If only Sergio were a bad guy.

It seems hate is the last thing I want to do.

I raise my glass to the Elect. I raise it Luca with a nod to Frank. I drink to their health and peace- where ever they may find it.

Yes. I CRIED. It was a raw as the first time and just as confusing for my emotions even knowing the ending. That my dear reader, is a sign of true literature.

Elicit is a fresh concrete. The cover is
Beautiful and polished it looks pristine. But once you step in/turn those pages you find yourself sinking in. That surface is no longer shiny and smooth. It's rough and mucky. It sticks to everything. You can't dislodge yourself without making a bigger mess. And no matter what you do, you cannot get it all off. Even when you get home and try to clean it, it sticks to you. Any exposed skin will feel the burn. The burn that Elicit gives you though is entirely internal.
