The Wind in the Willows
by Kenneth Grahame
it’s actually been a really long time since i’ve read this. but this book holds so much sentimental nostalgia that i immediately knew what to rate it. based on the warm cozy feelings i feel when i think of this book. my mom used to read it aloud to me and my siblings. my older brother and i would turn our ottoman upside down and pretend we were mole and rat, floating down the river, with measuring cups gripped between our teeth as pipes. we acted out the book every time my mother read it and these are some of my most treasured memories, not that i don’t have so many, but these are good. you know? anyways. i like writing reviews based on memories and feelings.
