I was initially intrigued by this book due to its podcast aspect as I’ve enjoyed several other books around that premise. This one unfortunately was not one I enjoyed.

This book follows Bodie as she returns to the boarding school she attended 25 years before where her former roommate was murdered during their senior year. She begins to rethink the quick conviction that was made against the athletic trainer and starts to think about other angles the case could be taken from.

This book was one that I just did not enjoy. I had a difficult time getting into it and eventually switched to audio which helped a little but still was difficult to hold my attention. The main character I found to be very annoying and I felt that the story was jumping all over the place and trying to cover too many themes and topics. I wanted to not finish it several times, but kept going to at least see if my theory was correct in the end.
