This is like fine or whatever. I'm basically just on a British detective serial killer novel kick and these are very mediocre. Basically the book equivalent of Panda Express. But my one big complaint is that Marsons keeps referring to people as "males" and "females." Like, "a group of males looked over." But...why. Why this choice??? It's SO WEIRD. Can they not just be a group of MEN? It's extremely jarring.
