I enjoyed the ride Lina and Max took me on. I don’t think enemies to lovers is the correct thing to say to describe this book. I’d say it was romcom, and I loved how the way Lina was able to talk about how women especially BIPOC are treated when in power or in a certain position when people judge them harsher than men. I’d have enjoyed seeing an epilogue from them and seen more of Max and Andrew take a step towards rebuilding their relationship. Also, I wish I saw Max’s mom talk to both Max and Lina and show how excited she’d be to have them be together or to even acknowledge Max’s accomplishment since Andrew was seen as the most reliable. Aside from that, I loved everything.
