4 stars. A bi-awakening between a girl from 2023 and a girl in 1812. I loved this. It was such a fun read and there was the right amount of teenage angst with a sweet and adorable romance. I loved the writing, the plot was really cool, it’s paced well, and the main characters were wonderful and incredibly likable. Audrey getting sent to the year 1812 was interesting and I liked the way the author portrayed the time period.
I liked watching Audrey adapt to the time period while also teaching Lucy about her own. They had wonderful chemistry even though neither really knew how to handle those feelings for each other. The third act was fantastic and was easily my favorite part because both characters went through some good development. Especially Lucy. Overall, this was entertaining from beginning to end and I had such a fun time reading it.
