What would you do if the man you're about to marry was named on a list of women abusers?
I loved the commentary and exploration of the "trial by social media" we see all the time now and how damaging that is both for victims and third parties who get caught in the crossfire. I absolutely hate that about social media.
Michael was a bit of a dirtbag from the jump but I thought that added nuance to the whole discussion. Yes, he's a dick but is he actually a criminal? That's the whole point.
I wasn't too sure how I felt about Michaelbeing set up in the end though. It is an important issue to flag but at the same time it's kinda tone deaf, maybe? I don't know... I also thought it dragged a little bit in the middle.
I still very much enjoyed this and the audiobook was very well done.
