Memories of Prophecies is an excellent novel, and I want to read more. I loved all of the characters, even the ones I wouldn't actually like in real life. Even those with only a few lines seemed dynamic. The plot makes sense while still throwing twists at the characters and the reader, and the pacing is the perfect balance between action and moments of reflection. The dialogue is easy to read because I can hear people really speaking that way. The myths, lore, prophecies, and such are a lot to take in, but they unfold and come together in natural and interesting ways. I've never read anything quite like this, but I really enjoyed it.
