Not sure how to rate this book and series. well this book had a lot of sex. The writer must have had a list of sex scenes she wanted in the book but lost the list for the first two books and decided it was worth putting them all into this book. so sex and then some more sex and then more. and every once in a while was the story. the ending is very typical angst but still a page turner. but it ended in a way that needed more. so I can see why she created novellas after it. as a series it's ok of a read but if you have issues with cutting or even thought about it don't even pick the book up. this book could trigger people into cutting. so make sure you can read the deep feelings and emotions about cutting without placing yourself in that position. plus there are issues with child abuse. And sex with the intent of pain. but if you are interested in reading the book I doubt those things will stop you. especially if you read 50 shades and liked it. the cutting adds a different spin on the 50 shades knock off bit. But I want to say the best part of this series is how mature the couple is. Both Nikki and Damien had plenty of opportunities to be immature and not communicate their feelings in a way that would cause problems or drama. this author took a different approach to the billionaire and chick relationship. I found this quality part of why I really liked reading this. it was a refreshing characteristic. and the forgiving that takes place makes sense. not blind love. but meaningful love. I am actually curious to read other stuff from this author just for this reason. and I will be reading any novella I can get my hands on the deals with this series.
