Dangerous Curves Ahead by Sugar Jamison

3.0

Honestly, I was pretty pumped to dive into this one. A romance novel with a curvy heroine and a smokeshow hero? Finally! Sadly, the protagonist's insecurities took away from what the storyline could have been.

Why can't a hunky gorgeous guy love a woman with curves???!! Sure it can be something that's addressed, but that should be it. She should be proud of how she looks, not always calling herself fat and pushing him away. He is leaving because you keep telling him to, not because he wants to!

I know that romances have a formula, but Dangerous Curves Ahead ran through the formula one too many times.

That said, I'll likely try reading another of the books in the series again. Hoping that this is just a one-off and that her other leads are a little more confident.
