This book deserves most of the fanfare it’s gotten recently. The story feels fresh and classic at the same time, slow to start but eventually had me hooked. This book is the blueprint for sure, for vintage-like college adventure stories. Downsides are that it’s a bit wordy, and personally I feel like weird (seemingly unnecessary) asides could be done without, but to each their own.
Graphic: Addiction, Death, Homophobia
Moderate: Incest, Racial slurs
