Tik Tok, BookTok, has raved about this book. TBH I tried the audiobook first. Everyone all excited by the TikTok Narrator. Sir, your voice has a good tone, but some polish is needed. It was like listening to Charlie Brown's teacher after a chapter.
This was a short novella like book. It's not as "taboo" as it could be. I've read much darker. Was it Fabulous? No. I don't get the hype. Was it a quick and dirty read? Yes. I had a hard time believing the 180 Joker took, once Quinlan, fell into his world. Classic Lonely Boy syndrome. Will I read Wes' book, probably.
