The Rise of Kyoshi by F.C. Yee

Read this because I'm a fan of the ATLA world.
This book was a great extension to the world while having some limitations of being a prequel.
I love the references to previously introduced pieces of the world as it kept the story focused on building Kyoshi and HER story instead of trying to introduce too much too soon.
So far, the characters aren't as likeable as the original Team Avatar and Im not sure where the full story arc is heading, but I'm excited to read the rest of the series.
