I do not often read books that stray from paranormal or fantasy, but I bought a copy of this a year or so ago when it was on sale, thinking that after hearing so much about it and thinking the concept was interesting, it deserved a chance. I really enjoyed this book. It was simple and complex at the same time and I was drawn into the lives of the characters. Noah and Echo were adorable together and their relationship worked. I look forward to reading the rest of the series.
